Thank you for your response. You explained it quite well. I should have given more details for what I'm trying to determine.
Let's say you were playing poker in 1935, and you had a stack of $100 chips. I'm trying to figure out what demonination chip would be the same today. A bet of $100 in 1935 would be the same as a bet of $1,000, $2,000, $10,000 today? I'm basically trying to figure out how big of a deal a $100 bet was in 1935.
I was watching a poker game at the Mohegan Sun Casino a few weeks ago. A $100 bet is no big deal. But a $10,000 bet (I didn't see any) would have made me stop & think.
Is this making any sense?
