You most likely can get rooms cheaper than at the Trop. But every room "sold" at the Trop helps defray the cost of the convention and the more rooms "sold" makes the convention more attractive to the host casino. This convention, as have the others in past years, are a bargain compaired to others (job related) I've attended with a gate of $500 plus and rooms at $150 and up. Support the club, stay at the Trop. As for cars - I've no idea.
