There was some discussion introduced by Jim Reilly
a while back that may be worthwhile revisiting.

Some suggested that our club could use the
exposure while others voiced their opinion that
the performance
of items listed would be far greater than if only
being limited to current membership and "Members
for a day" status.... and that perhaps our club
may even entertain the thought of more than one
auction per year; if not several.

There were also some who suggested: "Can it. We
don't need no stinking eBay or for our club auction to be any larger than what it is now."

PLEASE NOTE: This is not my idea, but I do feel
the idea should be exposed to further discussion
should there be interest.
