I would rather know what the reserve is. I don't mind a reserve as long as you tell me what it is. If I am willing to pay $X and you have a reserve at $X+100 (more than I would spend), we are wasting each other's time.

But I would rather you just start the opening bid at/near the price you want. If I want to bid cause I want to add this to my collection, I still will.
