John; I could accept someone not knowing the difference between materials. Some folks may not know the differences between cedar and oak or pine. But when they say "rare oak" or "rare pine" or "rare cedar" or "rare celluliod" ... then the inference implied is that they must know what they are talking about. All I'm saying is that if one does not know that the item they are offering is truly rare, then don't imply that it is. The seller admitted that he knew little about casino chips. So by calling his common chip "rare" on ebay excuses him? I don't think so.
