John; Are you kidding? My grandson knows what "rare" means.
"if a person does not know the definition of a word" (rare) in this case ..... then they shouldn't be using it. It's not the buyers fault that the seller is mis-using a word. How about putting the blame where the blame lies; on the seller? There are plenty of other words ebay sellers can choose from, like "obsolete, I think", "no longer available since I was last at the casino", "no longer in play since last month", "seldom seen for sale because it's so common", "have not seen one in two weeks", " might be tough to find". Why would you want to make excuses for someone that you don't even know what his/her motives are John? It is my opinion that most sellers know the meaning of the word "rare" and I will keep bringing their misleading ebay offerings to their attention.
