I agree with you 100% John... but that is EXACTLY the problem.... obviously it WAS NOT handled internally at all. It appears that official club officers, who were elected by the membership to represent them on Board decisions, were not consulted before authorizing the casino to go ahead. I have a problem with that and I hope that you as a club member would not be happy with that scenario either. I don't fault the casino.
I welcome the publicity for the club, the more the better .... much like that National Rodeo Finals that are held each year in Las Vegas and several properties issue chips to commemorate the event. I want my elected representative for whom I voted to be able to voice his/her opinion on important matters such as this. All the club officers are on-line. An e-mail poll among the officers is not too much to expect for approval of such matters.
