I can share your loss as we've lost TWO cats over the years, one after surgery and treatments in NYC for cancer and another of natural causes at the ripe old age of 19. Whatever the age, they become part of the family and we mourn just as long and just as hard as if it were a human family member. I offer my sincere condolences.
