Now THAT'S very interesting! ...and confusing at the same time. If they are planning to put the table back on the floor, why would they sell any of the plaques or jetons?

The pieces would be in the vault of either Paris or Bally's in the wooden crate that they kept them in and brought out every night to inventory on the French wheel before starting the game, then boxed up and hauled back into the vault every night after closing the table. I'd assume they'd currently have the crate sealed so the individual pieces wouldn't have to be counted on a daily basis. I couldn't see them putting the entire inventory on a different counting status just to sell a few of them.
