Now let's see if I have this correct.
Much wailing and consternation on this bulletin board from some about not being able to pick up a live convention LE chip for face value two years ago at the Orleans cage because of some folks getting as many as 20-200 chips and they were all sold out by opening day.... or so it is alleged. The casino doubles the number from 1000 chips the year before, to 2000 chips the following year ... and has many un-sold chips left over after the convention is concluded.
Now, in 2001, a local casino in town (not the host convention site) has received permission from the club officers to issue a chip set promoting the club with it's logo, is going to make 1000 LE $1, $2.50, $5 SETS available and limiting purchases to ONE SET PER PERSON at face value ($8.50) right at a table on the convention floor..., and a Chapter has made arrangements to take orders in advance at face value, and a new charge that a Chapter has the entire inventory locked up claiming a "hustler'smarket" ... "working angles to the exclusion of everybody else... "
I must be missing something.
