Jill,
I didn't even realize they were mine! To many chips! When I saw them I was looking, thinking, OOOOOOHHHHHH I might need some of those!
Years ago I was meeting in Minden with Howard Herz. We were comparing Harrahs colections. I thought he would have all the Harrah's. Well big surprise, I had many he needed & he had the ones to complete my sets. Almost as if a collection had been split in two. I know he sold all these & luckily to a good friend, who is still our club president for the time being. Dave helped us tons on the book. He at one time sent us like $50 grand in chips to photograph so we could fill in the missing pieces, or pictures. Can anyone imagine the work to get all the right pic's lined up next to the text. It was unreal! Steve Wells gets the credit for doing most of that tedious job. We did however spend a long time going over chips to figure which to use. Just one of the many processes that makes a color book so hard. And as I have said & alway will. Only he & I could of done it.
Collectors like you Jill who appreciate the hobby, the chips, & want to share information too are one of the main reasons we did the book.
