This is my favorite picture of my granddaughter. She was six when this was taken. She earned her black belt in TaeKwon-Do last week. She’s not yet seven and a half. I thought it may have been some sort of juvenile rank but no, it’s a full fledged 1st degree black belt! Very nice to be able to reach such an accomplishment at her age, something she can be proud of her entire life. No one else in the family knows squat about martial arts, it was an activity she took to on her own. Lots of hard work and practice, she was a real “dojo rat” this last year. Her other favorite things are “playin’”, riding her pink and white bicycle and as you can see, wearing cute pants with little flowers on them. This picture , and one of her little sister, is hung next to my front door. Kinda puts me in a real positive state of mind when I venture out!
