The WSOP turns out 450 for hold-em and 150 for stud. Which average poker player are you talking about?

AND BESIDES, the current convention tournament chairman, hates 7 card stud!!!

All kidding aside, if we held a stud tournament we could seat 80. Hold-em we can seat 110. Stud is and has been for years a dying game.
