So what do YOU suggest Scott? Personally, I think that writing letters does help. I know for a fact that a memo was distributed at Trop regarding employee purchases of the recent St. Pat's Day chip. If you feel it does no good, I can't convince you otherwise.
The alternative is to wring one's hands and say, "woe is me, woe is me.... I'm getting screwed." What good does that do? I would much prefer letting those in charge, and who have control over setting things right, be made aware that I am unhappy . If a half-dozen folks (or more) express their dis-satisfaction, maybe somebody upstairs will get the message and take a look at the problem. If they don't know that a problem exists, then there is nothing for them to look at.
