I don't think that Harrah's wants any negative publicity whether it be from a $1 or $5 player or from a $100 player... especially if an imagined or real threat to Gaming gets involved.
It can't hurt to let them know that the locals are unhappy and that an easy solution is available. I understand that other properties in town have a sign-up list available for new chip issues. While that is not utopia ... it's certainly a better process than what has happened at Harrah's. An early morning raid on the cage at 3 a.m. in the morning by one individual has the appearance of collusion. That's how it appears to this disintrested observer on the face of it all. But then, what do I know? Nothing!
