I would suggest that a glue seep through, somewhat akin to a do-do leak in a diaper, might be the culprit. As an alternative explanation, how about a hot application being a little too hot?

I have a specimen with no yellow. And I have seen others with the yellow "mark" in different locations, including the young thang's butt!
