Same thing happened the last year at the Orleans. This happens because the marketing department which sent out the special offer is a different profit center than Sales and Catering. All departments do what they can to generate revenue to their bottom line.

You are correct the Club gets "no credit" for the room revenue you generate. Not much the Club can do to change the situation.
