I want to thank all of you that have sent congratulatory posts and emails for my appointment as chairman of the 2002 convention. I, actually we, (Liz and I) will do all we can to make the 2002 show as successful as previous shows. Wayne and Belinda have been tremendous recources as well as many past chairmen and key personnel. We certainly thank those of you who have stated they will help in 2002. We are actively working on 2002 and hope to learn from this years convention. I sure hope you all realize that putting on the convention is done volunteeringly and plead for you to come forth to donate a few hours or more to both the 2001 and 2002 shows. We hope to announce at the 2001 convention, the location of the 2002 show. Hopefully, it will be on the Strip as most of you have requested. However, costs to the membership, room rates, and available facilites have to dictate the location. And as a side note, those of you attending, can get rooms in Vegas cheaper than the host casino but please realize that trading, dealer, and seminar rooms are priced according to the number of sleeping rooms reserved. Help defray the cost of the convention by staying at the host casino.
