If you're going around July 4, Chuck, expect a BIG hike in the hotel rates. Plus, the celebrity golf tournament at Edgewood Tahoe (behind Harveys and the Horizon) is July 3-8, so reasonably priced rooms will be tougher to find then. I agree with Scott; the Lakeside Inn is a pretty good deal. It's about a 10-minute walk to the other casinos and much less expensive.
