I started collecting chips about about a year ago and found The Chipboard about 3 months ago. I still consider myself in the learning stage which is why Im asking this question. Its concerning a Thunderbird chip that is on ebay now, item # 1123282332. I have seen this chip for auction 4 times in the last 3 weeks by 4 different sellers so I guess there is many of them available. All are in mint condition for their age and they all sold at a reasonable to maybe cheap price. My question is why is Thunderbird spelled in 2 words on the chip? We all know the casino was not spelled like that. According to the Chip Rack this could POSSIBLE be reasons that this chip is a fake. Its in the Chip Rack Book as an "F" chip but I have never seen the thunderbird spelled that way. Are there any chips or other casino item that would spell the name that way? In your opinion is this a counterfit?
