I'd say the first casino-sponsored Oregon-coast casino chip show was a success. It was nice to see the several California dealers who made it down for the show. Also had representation from the Oregon and Idaho dealers who like to set up for the western shows. The show-room was spacious and it was nice to have the free soda bar nearby. No free alcohol at the Oregon Indian clubs but they do have self service soft drinks.
The organizers seemed pleased at the response and I believe we will see another show in the future at this casino. There were nine of the show commemorative $5 chips left when the dealers began closing up shop so I bought them to make it a sellout of the 500 made. If anyone would like one, they are available for $6, as is the Millenium chip which is still in use on the tables. Shipping is 75c for any number of chips.
Frankly I didn't look at the pic on the show chip until I got home. I cannot figure what it represents. Looks like a sports player in some kind of helmet holding some kind of bat. Cricket? Maybe its a slab [g].
