I'm not sure why you find that "amusing". The deadline for submitting material to the magazine preceded the Atlantic City chapter meeting.

Furthermore, as anyone who has read my posts on this issue knows, I opposed the amendment for specific reasons, believe that all chapter members should be club members and have on several occasions posted my compromise proposal which would, I think, accomplish that purpose without incurring either animosity or wholesale defections on the part of chapter members who believe international membership should not be required.
