Good News:
Message from Barry Weintraub Secretary of the CC>CC.
"Everything appears to be in order and you have now officially started a new
local chapter of the Club."
It is now time to call for nominations of officers.
Archie Black has consented to be the nominations chairman.
All members are welcome nominate candidates.
I am going to post my nominations here.
Peter Sanders for President.
Janice O'Neal for Vice President
Amy Andrae for Treasurer and Membership Officer
Robert Touts for Secretary
Mike Skelton for Officer at Large
All of the above have been very active, behind the scenes getting the Chapter off the ground. I think it is a good mix of chippers than can represent the different ideologies that our members have. I think they all, can draw the line between our Chapter Anti-Slabbing activities and an outright ban from Club activities.
To be honest, I am not so sure I can.
Please do not send Archie votes. Send only nominations for officers if you want to nominate.
The actual vote will take place at the Chapter meeting in May at the convention.
