As you can see, the scammed chip dealer did a lot of research on the chips. He showed me the chips about 4 months before the ad broke. I gave him some research tips and forgot about it. The mold does resemble an old mold in HH's book.
The ad broke.
Two days later, I happened to be in the LV chipco office. They had a BJ table in the front room. While going through the sample chips looking for ones I did not have, I found one blank, exactly like the Ore House chip. I was told it is the unicorn mold chip, without the unicorn. It can be ordered that way.
An email to Chipco got this responce.

Hello Gene,
It is always good to hear from you. I'm glad you and Bee had a successful outing recently.
Yes, these chips are our Pro-Check chips hot-stamped with the Ore House on them. We made 200 each of the 4 colors and shipped them in August 1998. Any more questions just contact us. Thanks, John
There are 4 chips, $1,$2,$5, and $10.
The guy that had them made, already had the story ready to scam someone. It worked. I think there was a lawsuit filed over the deal.
