I have never met Ric. However, besides have a great first name, he has been anything but polite on this board. Actually I feel his behavior has been superior to most of his respondents.

Ric or Henry G, in my opinion, will cause no harm to the hobby. They are only 2 individuals. Their effect on the hobby is de minimus. It's the masses you should be concerned with -- the silent majority, so to speak. This group of people should be educated and not subjected to harsh rhetoric. I think the rhetoric does more harm than good. A seminar on the issue can only enlighten and, therefore, if the cause is right, help it.

Penultimately, I admire the fact that Ric, although pounded pretty well on the BB, has not chosen the "I'm quitting, I'm never reading or posting to this board again" tactic. Instead he has answered all comments and questions to the best of his ability and sans sarcasm. As everyone knows, several members of the club have made such threats. I admire Ric for standing his ground rather than hietailing it out. As for the spineless, deserting club members, enough said.

Lastly, Ric is wrong on slabbing and, most importantly, should either add an "H" or "K" to his first name
