You don't have to know anything about coins. Do you agree that the value of a chip is somewhat based on it's rarity??? If you do then you have to agree that if a chip, lets take the one you just purchased.I believe that only 6 are known to exist, is sent into be slabbed the person who sent it in for grading doesn't agree with the grade so they remove it from the slab and re submit it. Now the grading company believes there is another one of this chip out there ie: 7 known to exsist the rarity is false and the value of your chip drops. This happens on a dialy basis in the coin industry and that is one of the reasons why coin collecting isn't a hobby anymore.
