supposing for this example that the card on the bottom was taken out of the slab on top. What is the BV for the slabbed card and the exact same card no longer in its slab?
then tell me why the price disparity?
After all it only costs $10 to $20 to get it graded.
Why are the slabbed identical article's SOOOOO much more outrageously priced than the unslabbed one?
Any wonder why I quit collecting BB Cards?
Last November I went to a local BB card show with a co-worker's daughter (she collect's Xenea cards). I was really surprised to see how that show had shrunk in dealer size and attendance since my last appearence back around 1992 when I quit collecting.
Funny thing too! I didn't see one XENA card slabbed!
And myself being a TREKKIE freak... I have many of the early card sets that were put out. I've just recently looked at E-Bay and not one slabbed Star Trek card.
I just don't understand how that with there being many more Star Trek Fans out there that the Slabbing Companies are looking at OUR SMALL group of casino collectors.
I still have loads of questions as to WHY slabbing is good for the casino chip/token hobby. Do you have some reasons why it is? I'm listening.
