Ric; I'm not attempting to curb anything you say.... the last I saw, the name of this bulletin board is thechipboard.com.. As for kids in the chip hobby, it's very obvious that there are very few children who collect chips, primarily because they are underage and are not allowed to enter a casino, much less purchase chips from a casino .... it has nothing to do with not being welcome in the hobby. They are not well represented in the chip hobby because very very few of them are chip collectors.

Yes, I too have seen kids at the side of one parent or the other, whining about purchasing something he/she wants from the card dealer's table. I've experienced it not only with my own kids when they were younger and "into" baseball cards, but with my three grandsons as well, over Pokemon cards .... another uncontrolled unregulated rip-off.
