While I strongly support the seminar on slabbing (it will be a popular event and conceivably someone with an open mind might learn something) I won't be in attendance. I don't think there is anything I need to learn on the subject. I would like to point out, however, that almost all the controversy on this subject has not been the pros and cons of slabbing. Rather the controversy has been the wisdom of our club and members to take an aggressive role in preventing the introduction of slabbing. This was the issue that most differentiated the candidates wanting to rule the CCGTCC.
