... said a couple of times already, Michael is working very hard on this. It is NOT going to be a pro-slabbing event. It is NOT going to be an anti-slabbing event. It IS going to be an opportunity for representatives of both sides to present their points of view in a civilized, organized manner.

No one is more opposed to the slabbing of chips than I am. I would have preferred that slabbers not be offered tables this year. If elected, I WILL, as promised, present a resolution prohibiting the use of club venues to sell or promote slabbed chips.

I expect that the slabbing seminar will reinforce the feelings of those of us already opposed to chip slabbing and will recruit others who are currently undecided (or simply don't know about the controversy). ----- jim o\-S
