The scanner that I unplugged and parked is an HP 3200C, using the accompanying HP PrecisionScan LT Software. The only reason I bought the new scanner was I couldn't SCSII interface my Canon scanner with my laptop. All that's available today is a SCSII 2 PCMCIA card, and nobody makes a cable to connect a SCSII 1 to a SCSII 2. NOBODY!

I use AdobePhoto Deluxe for image editing. The scanner software on my old desktop is Ofoto, still works great with the Canon scanner, tags the .BMP files with a creation date of 1982! Some of the old stuff still works pretty good.
