To All,
I think my new computor is ready to use. Here's hoping I can get this message posted before it crashes .
I am having a real problem with this education seminar on slabbing to be held at our convention. It seems to me some of our current club officers have allowed (to take Archie's phrase) the camel to stick his nose under OUR tent under the guise of education. Give me a break!!! Slabbers and those who provide this "stinking" service don't give a damn about collector education. All "they" want to do is sell their service. We like a bunch of idiots open our door to them; sell them a table at our convention and now provide a forum to push their service to our members. What in the "hell" are we doing people???? This is not education -this is making a BIG mistake. We don't owe these companies anything. Why do we have to cater to them???
I say get rid of them. Refund their table fees and throw them the "hell" out of our convention. To hold a seminar under this education crap is to allow that camel to stick his nose even further under our tent. I say NO!!!
This is OUR convention not theirs. Don't allow our concept of fair play to be the stepping stone for more damage to our hobby. We do not have to have them present at our convention. We do not have to rent them a table.
I am sick and tired of trying to make nice. Let them get the "hell" out. These are my opinions and I share them freely, openly and above board. That is more than what "they" do. Best, Jim
