Might I suggest that your concern about a misrepresented chip on ebay could be solved a much better way.

In dealing with high end chips from a seller whom you have not dealt with before you mighty want to consider using an escrow service. You send payment to the escrow company, they tell the seller when payment has arrived. Seller then ships chip to you for your inspection. If the chip is not as described you return the chip and recover your money from the escrow company. If the chip is as described you direct the escrow compnay to pay the Seller.

Their fee on a $1,000 payment would be 2% ($20).
