I finally got through this long thread on the Palace station and stamp collecting.

Just for a point of information, I was told ( not verified) that banks and possibly other establishments including the IRS does not have to
accept any coins (other than the silver dollars) as payment for anything. One cannot wheel a barrel of pennies into the bank and demand that they accept them as payment or deposit or even to change them into dollars.

Does anyone know if this is so?
