Would the offset inlay be considered an error or simply an oddity or curiosity? There is a speck of something on the neck of the bust of Caesar that is imbedded into the inlay. Appears to be a chip of a different chip. Maybe paint? Sorry about the lousy scan. Brite white chips don't seem to scan well.

I also have a question about inserts. (Can't scan the edge of a chip.) Blue chip with three pair of red / white inserts. On the EDGE of the chip the red inserts do not meet, the blue chip can be seen. I can't recall seeing this before. I'm probably just dreaming and this is common, but I would appreciate any comments.
