I take issue with what you have written. I'm on several "lists" and you still get your chips for $2 over face for $5's in most instances. Most of us on lists are there to help those of you who are not in Vegas at the time of release get some of the low mintage chips as well as other chips. I know of no one providing a new issue service that is gouging the collectors and the "dealers" ARE selling their chips at a reasonable price. There are about 20 new issue providers and dealers here in Vegas. Competition amongst us keeps prices reasonable.

I will admit that some chips on auction go 4-5 times their face value but that is not the dealer driving the price, it is the buyer. Check out each dealers web site - no where do I find a recently issued LE at much more than 2x face.
