A year or so ago Bally's experimented with "electronic" chips from Mikohn used in blackjack. Does anyone know much about this episode. I'm curious what was the purpose (prevent cheating, track betting, prevent dealer errors, speed up the game) and how it worked (special table, what the dealer had to do differently, etc.) The chips are no longer used and the Mikohn website makes no mention of this product so I'm assuming the experiment was unsuccessful.
