David; I don't know what the circumstances are regarding the subject bidder in this specific thread, but most every Friday afternoon I leave for a long weekend in Atlantic City and don't return until Monday around noon. When I do return, there are literally dozens of unread emails awaiting me, 400 unread posts on the bulletin board, and many personal things to do before I get to them.... and I have much more free time than most folks do.

Are you suggesting that I should not bid in ebay auctions that end on Friday nights or Saturdays after I've placed my top bid in advance of my leaving town because I can't hang around until the last minute to put in a snipe bid?
