In Chip Chat latest issue Doug Saito pretty much
tells his tribute to Tim. Thanks Doug for your
tribute to Tim. This is my tribute. I met Tim at
the first Chip Show at The Orleans. When i stopped
at his table he was a very helpful and curteous
person. I preceeded to look in his chip album and
found a few Nevada Chips that i needed for my chip
collection. His prices were very fair..then he told me how would i like to get a discount on my
chip purchase from him. I said okay. He said for
a every correct answer to a question that he asked
me,i could get 10 % off. The max off would be i think it was 40 % off. My first purchase from him
i got 100 percent right so..40 % off. It was fun
and enjoyable to deal with him. He then commented
to me that my knowledge with Nevada gaming casinos
is very good. I commented to him that i to like him drive all around Nevada and visit those small
towns, casinos and take pictures and try to do
research on those towns and casinos. I walked around the room and made many more chip purchases from him so i could participate in his trivial
questions of Nevada Casinos. The next year at the
Orleans, I looked for Tim but didn't see him at
the show,so i guess he couldn't make it. This past
year show at the Tropicana..I was happy to see Tim
have a table.. I bought chips and postcards and
then participated in his questions and answers. He
was one my favorites chip dealers that i looked
forward to seeing at the annual chip show. A few
months after the show a fellow chip friend and
dealer passed the word of Tim's Passing. I was very saddened by his passing. Thanks Tim for all
your memories..and my deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
