Welcome to the club. Its a great bunch. A couple of pieces of advice. A couple years ago someone e-mailed me, someone I didn't know, about a couple of boxes he had of High Sierra chips. I am just a small time collector and at the time a newbie and I didn't know anything about these chips or what to do with such an offer. So I took the issue to this board. I explained in a post about the offer and asked for advice. Within minutes I had numerous responses regarding the history of the High Sierra casino and its chips and how to proceed with such an offer (I was advised that there are other people in the club who were more capable of dealing with large quantities of chips). I sent a note back to the guy and passed on the deal and suggested a couple of other people who could handle the quantity he was talking about. Truth is I never heard about the chips after that and I believe the folks who answered my post saved me for something. Bring your chip questions and concerns here. Ask about folks you may be dealing with or chips that sound to good to be true. The people here are excellent. Another thing that I like to do when trading or buying especially if its not face to face is ask for their CC>CC number. Since the club has a code of ethics and a redress procedure for bad deals, its just a little insurance.
