Lets say slabbing came to our hobby 5 years ago.
I could name you 10 different chips that were found in that time span that sold for over $1,000 when they were 1st found. Lets say they had been slabbed in the MS catagorys.
The MS67 sold for $2,000
The MS65 sold for $1,500
The MS60 sold for $1,000
Today they all sell for under $100 and in some cases for $15. Who got hurt the worst?
IMO, it is the collector that had to have the "Best" or maybe it was the "investor" who bought all of the MS 67 slabbed chips.
