I'm sure you will get many responses to your post, although many of them may just be verbal and only the spouses will hear! However, I can share that the "good ol' boy (and girl)" aspect of this hobby is just what drew me to it. The ability to sit down across from individuals who have interesting histories as people and as chip collectors is a GREAT DEAL of what keeps me in this hobby. I can look at a chip and make a personal decision as to it's value to me and then haggle with it's owner to my heart's content. I don't EVER want to see this hobby go to the COMMERCIAL state of coin slabbing where values are set by a third party, put out on a table for sale and that's that!

I hope our posts continue to entertain you but I don't perceive our hobby to be dangerous to anyone!
