All I've done is to reset "Preferences" at the top of the board. When I originally had lost my cookie, and regained it, preferences was set at two days. So if I responded to a post that was more than two days old, my reply was disjointed from the lead off post. I now have my preferences set at two weeks and have had no further problems.
