Pit bosses do have flexibility with respect to comps. If he thinks you're a player, you may be comped even if you haven't "earned" it as of a certain point.

Different bets on the craps table earned different points or consideration towards comps.

For example, Pass/Don't Pass line (Come/Don't Come) bets earn the least points. Placement bets earn a little more. The most points, quite naturally, are earned by making the exotic bets (hard ways, any 7, field bets).

Some casinos will give consideration for bettors who bet Pass and Don't Pass on the same bet. A quick way to get Comped.
