I received an offer from the Trop (I suspect we all did who stayed there or got their players card) offering free rooms and special deals for certain dates. I worked out the difference from the rates I will pay for the Convention and the rates I could have gotten if I had waited until they sent their card--$100 even. Wow! But as I recall the Parable of the Vines, that's tough baby at least that's how I remember the parable.
