My note to the seller of the Capones chips:
--------------------------------------------
Hello,
I noticed an auction you recently conducted on eBay, item# 536922498.
The auction description reads as follows: "Beautiful set of Capone's Casino,a casino that was to open in the Carribean, but did not, included is a $1, $5 ,$25,$100 chip. Buyer Pays $2.00 Postage".
There are only two known chips from this never opened casino in St. Maarten, they can be found in Pollack's guide "Casinos of The Dutch Cariibean". The chips you auctioned do not in any way resemble the chips in the guide. If these chips are as you describe them, it would be a new and exciting discovery. Do you have any proof that these chips were made for the never opened casino in St. Maarten?
