There is a proposed amendment before the memberhip of the CC>CC. I have publicly stated my opposition to the amendment for a number of reasons. The whole memberhip has the chance to vote on this issue and make their voice known. I think the proposed amendment should be voted down, because we have already proved that it doesn't work. That is why the current board changed the chapter membership rule in the first place.

I would like to work on this issue to come up with a solution that works for everybody. I recommend that the CC>CC should form a committee to work on the chapter membership issue. If we work together, we can find a better solution. I would like all chapter members to belong to the CC>CC, but I know it will not happen under the current rules or with the proposed amendment. That is why an alternative is needed.
