This is the time of year to vote for club officers for the next 2 years.
The Campain junk (as you call it) gives the people in the club who are not on the Bulletin Boards the opportunity to find out something about the canidates who are running for office.
The future of the club for the next 2 years rests in the hands of the next board of directors.
By chance did you vote for a new president this year, or was the campaign junk a deterrent.
