Don, I had the same thoughts as soon as I saw the chip.

"I had correspondence with a chipper about this chip. He said that Nevada Gaming Control looked at the chip and certified it as genuine. That turned me off immediately."

Would love to see the above statement in writing.
I have grave doubts that gaming has pictures of approved chips pre 1973.
