... with little wings and a bow & arrow!!

In what I feel was a wonderful act of friendship, Paul recently introduced me (via email) to a friend of his and his wife Peggy's. This friend, Glenda Blake, is a widow who lives in Orange County. Following an exchange of several introductory emails and photographs, I visited Glenda in Orange County this weekend for my first personal social occasion since Sandy's death and my first "first date" since 1967! <g>

We were rained out of an intended visit to Disney's California Adventure, spending Saturday afternoon at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles instead, then went out for dinner.

I also took four 80 pocket books of chips to show her and after about an hour of looking at them, she hadn't run away as far and as fast as possible, so I guess I didn't scare her off completely! <G>

Actually, we had a great time together and have already planned a second date. So, thank you Paul & Peggy for the introduction and for your friendship.
